Newtone Shorties Bass Strings are designed specifically for short (30") and medium (32") scale basses. They have a bright, punchy tone which is missing from standard strings on instruments with short/medium scale lengths. This is achieved with unique core to warp ratios, particularly on the E and A strings, which suffer the most from lack of tension. The D/I range are suitable for 32-35" scale bass range and the AB are suitable for Dingwall style 37" scale basses. Axion Custom Works Fender VI set

Developed with Axion Custom Works to over come the imbalance of the standard Fender VI strings, this set has the low end definition to make the instrument sing on the bass strings. Nickel plated Steel over a Hex core, which is thicker on the .080/.085 and .100/.110 than standard. Northlane Signature Multi-scale Bass Strings

Availability: made to order, up to 14 days. Designed with Alex Milovic for his Dingwall basses and played by Northlane's new bassist Brendon Padjasek. They are constructed of Hex cores with Stainless Wrapping, featuring taper windings over the bridge on the thickest 3 strings. 'The hardest part about playing extremely drop tuned music as a bass player is finding the right bass strings for the job. Not only do they have to be heavy enough to handle the tuning's but also long enough to string a multi-scale bass. This for me has been my biggest quest and challenge over many years until finding Newtone. The AMDF & AMDG# encompass everything i need in a set of strings for both tunings used with Northlane. Not only are the string gauges perfect and the lengths of string are tailored specifically for a multi scaled instrument but the stainless steel retains the brightness needed to cut through the mix.'
